How it started . . where it’s going
Inspired by a true story, mother and designer, Nikki Demoneris emerged herself in sewing during the COVID19 global pandemic. That is when her three children took interest in her career, which led her on a search for fashion design books that were relatable and understandable for children ages 2-8.
Her search came up short - fashion books on the market weren’t introducing fashion fundamentals to children with a fun storyline they can grow with.
Nikki was on a mission to find creative ways to teach her children simple sewing and design lessons; so, she began writing.
Nia is Creative is the first book of Nikki’s upcoming series, “Fashion is Like Magic!” which aims to teach children about the complex world of fashion.

About Nikki Demoneris
Nikki Demoneris has been a fashion designer since upcycling her brother’s tighty-whities when she was only 4 years old. She went on to attain a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts with a focus in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design in New York City.
Nikki is currently a Fashion Technical Designer and sees her children taking interest in her career, which inspired her to introduce the apparel industry to young children.
Nikki aims to teach children lessons in fashion and life.
